It was interesting to see that your reviewers, when pondering “the gaps in the spectrum of local restaurants,” didn’t mention the paucity of vegetarian options. As a veggie since the ’70s, it’s always something I look for in reviews. The Times-Dispatch lists it for every review, which was actually my suggestion many years ago. More importantly, it’s shocking how many new establishments in this foodie town feature one or no vegetarian entrees. I haven’t visited some of them because the options for me and my kind are so pitiful. It’s unfortunate that your reviewers also ignored this growing base of enlightened diners.
