Among its infinite catalog of epic-failure accidents, memorable viral memes such as the Rickroll and the literal music video, and stand-alone videos of Keyboard Cat and Charlie the Unicorn, YouTube has become one of the 21st century’s pre-eminent resources for discovering talented musicians. Having already released a handful of self-made records and opening for the likes of Ben Kweller and Ben Folds, the charming ukulele player and vocal harmonizer will perform at Gallery5 on Tuesday, May 10, at 8:30 p.m. $10-$12.
