In school, Joseph has been a recipient of the Elizabeth C. Norfleet Memorial Scholarship designed to help a deserving student who, “through hard work and determination, strives to be his very best.” Volunteering is also important to Joseph, who helps feed the homeless through CARITAS and serves as a mentor/teacher for First Tee.
Off the greens, Joseph excels in other sports. He’s earned his second-degree black belt in karate and is working on his third-degree belt. He’s won several local, state, regional and national karate and weapon tournaments in the Amateur Athletic Union and the National Karate Federation.
