I would pay off my home in the near West End and then invest enough in my 5-year-old daughter Merrick’s 529 College Savings account to assure that her college education will be paid for.
I would also give a nice chunk to charity. I would also catch a lot of flack from my friends if I did not have some sort of shindig. I would get the best food for the money — not to mention beer from Mekong.
And, finally, since I would want the money to last, I would invest a good portion of it. My favorite investment right now is gold-mining stocks.
