High Point Barbershop & Shave Parlor is expanding beyond the Fan District.
It will open a new location at 1400 Boulevard at Norfolk Street in the same building where Gelati Celesti will open a new outlet this summer.
High Point co-owner David Foster says the new location should add from six to eight barber’s chairs.
“It will absolutely be more flexible for our customers and we’ll be better able to take walk-ins,” he says.
There can be backlogs of up to five weeks for a clip and shave at High Point’s 112 N. Meadow Street location in the Fan. That spot opened in 2014 and has five barber’s chairs.
