Washington native Henry Rollins, the former lead singer for Black Flag, once read spoken-word lines such as “I am Rattus Norvegicus / I’m sitting in some shithole rat’s nest and I’m a little angry.” Since his days as a confrontational punk frontman, Rollins, 56, has settled into the role of a multipurpose performer, working as a radio DJ, writer, television host, movie actor, standup comedian and spoken-word performer. Oh, and he’s a photographer too, which is what he’ll be doing this time around in Richmond. A world traveler, Rollins will tell stories behind his photos in his blunt and honest manner. 7:30 p.m. $20-$29.50. thenationalva.com
