The Sounds of Christmas

Things will be rockin’ around the Christmas tree this Christmas Eve when Fox TV presents the second annual “American Red Cross Holiday Music Spectacular” at 8 p.m.

The hour-long extravaganza will include performances by 98 Degrees, Clint Black (who hosts the show with his wife, actress Lisa Hartman Black), Patti LaBelle, Kenny G and Art Garfunkel. Also appearing on the show to help tell heart-warming stories about the Red Cross will be Bill Cosby, Rosie O’Donnell, Gloria Estefan, Dylan McDermott (“The Practice”), Christina Aguilera, Jane Krakowski (“Ally McBeal”) and Laura San Giacomo (“Just Shoot Me”).

The show was taped live last month at the historic Pasadena Civic Auditorium and is directed by Emmy-winner Lou Horvitz, who directed “The 70th Annual Academy Awards” and “The Kennedy Center Honors.”
