“Graffiti art” … no such thing. If a thug slashes your face, will you call it “switchblade art” and ask him to post photographs of it in a gallery? — Anonymous, Aug. 20, 9:49 a.m.

If art is in the eye of the beholder, I guess some people do not behold the proper eye to understand everything is art, including life itself. … [J]ust because something is not understood, does not mean it does not exist. Art on all levels and manifestations provides a key, or a door into something different, possibly something new maybe even a refresher of something old. Either way art brings life to the table. These so-called artists are at their core common criminals. Most of them are artists like William Hung is a singer. Attention whores and common vandals, nothing more. Property crime is property crime, I don't care if you call yourself an artist. — Anonymous, Aug. 23, 10:52 a.m.
