Nathan, Shawn, Michael and Wanya, collectively Boyz II Men, won the world over with flawlessly executed harmonies back in 1999, selling more than 60 million records and becoming the most commercially successful R&B group of all time. As R&B became more youth-oriented, the quartet’s popularity faded, and the four jumped from label to label trying to regain their footing. Bass Michael McCary left the group in 2003 because of complications from scoliosis. Refusing to say goodbye to yesterday, the group released “The Remedy” earlier this year, available on their Web site. So it’s not the end of the road yet — catch Boyz II Men at Toad’s Place on Dec. 16 at 9 p.m. Call 648-TOAD for more information. S
