Dale Reitzer has the mojo that makes national press sit up and take notice. An alumnus of Jimmy Sneed’s The Frog and the Redneck, he was named one of America’s Best New Chefs in 1999 by Food & Wine magazine. Reitzer set the bar for contemporary cuisine in Richmond with the opening of Acacia in 1998. He hasn’t forgotten how to impress a diner and is considered one of the city’s most bankable culinary talents. When he moves the restaurant next year, he promises to step up his game even more.
