The Richmond Public Library’s (RPL) annual Young Adult Virginia Author (YAVA) Award highlights excellence in writing for readers at the middle and high school level by Virginia authors. Each year, titles are nominated and a panel of teen judges evaluate them for the Award. There are eleven titles nominated for the 2024 YAVA Award!
