Enjoy an evening of poetry with members of the Poetry Society of Virginia in celebration of the group’s centennial anthology. Dr. Carolyn Kreiter-Foronda, Bill Glose, Edward W. Lull, Kathy Smaltz and Ron Smith will discuss their craft and read from their works in The Poetry Society of Virginia Centennial Anniversary Anthology of Poems by Member Poets. The book includes poems from contemporary poets as well as from previous anthologies. The organization of more than 400 members works to deepen the appreciation of poetry in Virginia communities through publications, readings, contests, workshops, in-school programs and other activities.
A book signing will follow the talk.
