VOXRVA Storytellers & Creator Meetup

If you love stories and storytellers, then you’ll love VOXRVA, Richmond’s premiere creator meetup and live storytelling event!
Every month VOXRVA hosts a community meetup for creators and storytellers followed by a live-recorded storytelling night. Each month has a new theme. Everyone is welcome to submit their story for a chance to share it on stage!

January’s theme: Transitions.

Transitions are an inevitable part of life. We move into new careers, relationships, homes, identities; the list goes on. Changes often require a leap of faith. So, what did it take for you to move away from the familiar and into the next chapter? We want to hear your stories! Share the gamble you took and how it paid off. Who knows? Your story might be the catalyst that inspires others to take their own leap of faith.

If you’re a fan of The Moth Radio Hour, TEDxRVA, or Secretly Y’all, then this live and in person event is for you! Free and open to the public. Seating is limited, so RSVP and share on your socials!

VOXRVA’s January event will take place at DreamHaus RVA; a one-of-a-kind cabaret theater and creative hub in the heart of Shockoe Bottom! 110 N 18th St, Richmond, VA 23223, on Monday, January 26, 2025, from 6-9 pm.

6–7 pm: Creator Meetup and Cocktail hour. Food, beer, wine, and mocktails available.
7-9 pm: VOXRVA Storytellers: Transitions. Submit your story here.
