Transportation Town Hall for Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing Community
PlanRVA, the Richmond Region Planning Commission, and the Virginia Department for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (VDDHH) are partnering to co-host an inclusive town hall style event to engage Deaf, DeafBlind, and hard of hearing residents from across the region. At this in person meeting guests will participate in an interactive mapping feedback activity.
ASL and CART interpretation will be provided with RSVP. Morning Refreshments provided.
It is time to update the region’s current 25-year plan, Connect 2045, a required process every five years that is relies on public input and data from each locality’s stakeholders. Now through April 2025, the public is invited to share their input and lived experience in a survey and digital mapping tool. This regional plan covers all modes of transportation and all ideas are welcome.
Our goal is to continue building an efficient, person-centered transportation system that supports the needs of all residents.
