Adapted for an intimate setting, the production follows a lawyer who enlists an actor to help him recount unsettling events that began at the funeral of an elderly recluse. A spectral figure, known locally as the Woman in Black, is said to bring terror to all who see her. In this immersive retelling, audiences sit within the world of the play as the two men recreate the chilling night, using the barn’s architecture and atmosphere to heighten every whisper and footfall. It is a rare chance to experience the Wayne Theatre on location, ideal for the Halloween season.
