Nonprofits play a vital role in our region and prepared and engaged board members are critical for the organization’s success. Leadership Metro Richmond proudly presents Nonprofit Board Governance Workshops to connect and prepare future and current nonprofit board members, CEOs, and senior managers. As the highest officer of a nonprofit, the board chair is in a vital position of strategy and leadership. The Nonprofit Board Chairs Roundtable, a three-part series, will cover the roles and responsibilities of the board chair and provide tools for conducting effective and strategic board meetings. Series facilitators will lead discussions with attendees, and provide insights and opportunities for attendees to share knowledge. Organization CEOs will be invited to attend the last session, joining their chairs to strengthen their working relationship. The series takes place on the following Wednesdays: May 15th, 22nd &29th, from 9:00-11:30 a.m. Registration is required to attend. The Bob and Anna Lou Schaberg Foundation sponsors the series.
