Three University of Richmond scholars — including Mayor-elect Danny Avula’s transition co-chair — unveil their new book, “The Making of 21st Century Richmond.”
Julian Maxwell Hayter, Amy Howard, and Thad Williamson authored the new book, including a tight focus on how the politics and policies of where we live have shaped the capital city we know today.
Join them at The Valentine in conversation with Thomas Okuda Fitzpatrick, executive director of Housing Opportunities Made Equal of Virginia (HOME of VA), a nonprofit with a 53-year history of fighting housing discrimination. Fountain Books will provide copies for sale (and signing).
