The Great Richmond Trivia Bee

April 25 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

The Great Richmond Trivia Bee is a team-based competition for people who love words, pop culture, history, literature – and showing off their random knowledge, all while having a blast! It’s also the signature annual fundraiser for The READ Center, a local adult literacy nonprofit organization.

Registration is open for teams of 3-4 people to compete in the trivia game. Team registration is $500 and includes entry into the game, food, and 2 drink tickets for each player. Those who wish to attend but not to play on a team, can purchase a spectator ticket for $25 (includes food and 1 drink ticket).

In 2023, the Trivia Bee had over 240 attendees and 51 teams compete! Just like last year, High Five Trivia will be hosting the game and White House Catering will provide delicious food and drinks.

Support of The Great Richmond Trivia Bee helps adults in the Richmond community develop the skills they need to improve their lives as employees, family members, and citizens. In the Richmond area, one in six adults have low literacy skills. Low literacy skills affect an individual’s health, education, employment, housing, and economic outcomes. Literacy skills are critical to navigating employment changes, keeping up with health and wellness needs, and adapting to a digital society.
