The RVA East End Festival, a celebration of music and the arts supporting Richmond Public Schools (RPS) in the East End, is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024 from Noon-9:00pm at Chimborazo Park, 3215 E. Broad Street in Richmond. The festival is a fun, free family event for the entire RVA community that will feature performances by local professionals including Chamber Ensembles of the Richmond Symphony, the Celebration Male Chorus, the Dap Mallory Band, and headliners Victor Haskins and James “Saxsmo” Gates, among others. The musical talents of some RPS students will also be on display. Enjoy music, food vendors and more! Rain or shine—if inclement weather, event will be a Martin Luther King, Jr. Middle School, 1000 Mosby St.
