A debut documentary film screening following activists and politicians as they continue the 100 year struggle to enshrine the Equal Rights Amendment in the US Constitution (yes, that’s right, it’s still not in there!). Much of the focus of the movie is on the efforts made in Virginia to become the 38th and final state needed to ratify the amendment. Everyone needs to see this film, and you may see someone you know – there are many local faces! Doors open at 6:30 pm, event begins at 7:00 pm. A Q&A session with some of the main players will follow the screening.
