Ralph Vaughan Williams ‘Dona Nobis Pacem’
All Saints Festival Choir will present a concert in honor of Veterans Day on Sunday, November 10 AT 3:00 PM, All Saints Episcopal Church (8787 River Road), featuring English composer Ralph Vaughan Williams “Dona Nobis Pacem” as the central piece. Written in 1936 as the clouds of war were on the horizon, “Dona Nobis” uses words from the Mass, scripture, and poetry by Walt Whitman.
The concert will be directed by SCOTT HAYES (Director of Music at All Saints) accompanied by a string ensemble and organ (DANIEL STIPE), and feature soloists CATHERN HAZELWOOD and RYAN TIBBETTS. Join us for this special musical work!
