After quite a long break through 2024, internationally acclaimed pianist, Alexander Paley, will be playing classical piano in Richmond again in January 2025, on the 10th and 11th at 7:30pm, and on the 12th, at 3:00pm, 2025. He’ll be performing a rich program of Rimsky-Korsakov, and Rachmaninoff, with Peiwen Chen, piano, Daisuke Yamamoto, Violin, (RSO Concert Master), and Neal Cary, Cello, (RSO Principal Cello) on the Friday evening.
On Saturday evening, the music is by Franck, Shostakovich, and Bizet, and on Sunday afternoon, Beethoven, Schubert and Liszt, again all with Peiwen Chen, piano, Daisuke Yamamoto, violin, and Neal Cary, cello.
