Literary Virginia Book Group | All the Ruined Men

April 10 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

Read and discuss the best of today’s Virginia literature—including books by Library of Virginia Literary Award winners and finalists in fiction and nonfiction. On the second Wednesday evening of each month, join a book group discussion online through Zoom at 6:00 PM.

This month, we’ll discuss “All the Ruined Men: Stories” by Bill Glose (the 2023 Literary Awards winner in Fiction). The author will be joining in our discussion!

Next month, we’ll discuss “Gangsters of Capitalism: Smedley Butler, the Marines, and the Making and Breaking of America’s Empire” by Jonathan M. Katz (a finalist in the 2023 Literary Awards for Nonfiction).

Email to check availability of Library of Virginia loaner books and don’t forget to check your local public library for digital download. For more information, contact Nan Carmack at nan.carmack@lva.virginia.gov or 804.692.3792.
