Anthony Ray Hinton spent 30 years of Alabama’s death row for two murders he didn’t commit. His release was secured thanks to the work of Bryan Stevenson’s Equal Justice Initiative.

Anthony Ray Hinton, exonerated death row inmate and author of “The Sun Does Shine: How I Found Life and Freedom on Death Row,” will speak at Randolph-Macon College. His remarks are part of the Watkins Lecture Series on March 7 at 7 p.m. in Blackwell Auditorium at Randolph-Macon’s Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets are free, but reservations are required.
