Death is the inevitable truth that near all living beings must face, yet in our society we avoid it. How can we fully respect life when we distance ourselves from such a fundamental part of it? A Meeting with Death is an invitation for us to be honest about one of life’s great inevitabilities. Together we will deepen our awareness of death and move to integrate it as a fundamental part of our lives. All are welcome to bring their thoughts, curiosities, and feelings to our conversations with death. We will meet every second Thursday of the month.

Devyn is a death doula and liberation guide here to support us in meeting life’s great transitions. They aim to inspire people to liberation through joy, ease, and play. Offering tools to help us realize our body’s innate ability to heal trauma, develop secure connections, and grow beyond our pain. They support people in learning to rise above reactions and stay centered through the complexities of life. Grounded in embodied transformation, land-based teachings, healing justice, and a revolutionary love ethic they help guide personal transformations that build our capacity for collective change.
