Executive Chef Chainey Kuykendall and Kitchen Manager Cable Bonney have created a menu inspired by the recipes and ethos of Virginia native and Southern culinary icon Edna Lewis. We will be pairing delicious teas by Virginia-based companies Dominion Tea and Savory Blends Tea Co. with flavors and blends inspired by the tastes, aromas, and history of Virginia.
Debra Freeman, award-winning writer and producer and host of the VPM docuseries Finding Edna Lewis and the Setting the Table podcast, will be joining us at the 11 am seating to provide an introduction to Lewis and her impact on Southern foodways.
