For the Visual Arts Center of Richmond, artist Veronica Jackson presents A CONSTELLATION OF BLACKNESS—a solo exhibition addressing notions of invisibility, hypervisibility, devaluation, and triumph experienced by Black women in America. The exhibition features series of printmaking, typography, and vintage photographs that speak to past and present times. Co-curated by the artist and Julia Chance.
Join us at 5:30pm on Friday, September 13 for a talk with the artist to kick off the exhibition opening. Free and open to the public.
