Collage CULT! At KavaClub! w/ Lisa
The Quarry crew is taking a fun meander down to KavaClub (1529 W Main St) for this meetup of Collage Club – lovingly known by the Quarry crew as COLLAGE CULT because it’s so freaking popular! KavaClub has reserved us some v cute tables, and there’s kava plus super-delicious mocktails and snacks on the menu. All are welcome.
Come armed with your boxes of papers and join Lisa in the art of combining disparate parts to create a new whole. She’ll provide a brief overview of the history and nature of collage, assuring everyone that there are no real rules. Pure creative freedom!
What to bring: Bristol board, cardboard or watercolor paper to collage onto small self-healing cutting mat or old cutting board (or thick cardboard scrap), any paper scraps or ephemera, glue, glue sticks, scissors if you have personal favorites (we have ALL of these things if not!)
