For the eighth year in a row, we are challenging the citizens of Richmond to a City-Wide Book Read during Black History Month, February 2025.
Dr. Jim Somerville will be joined by David Bailey, Founder and CEO of Arrabon, a Richmond nonprofit dedicated to the essential work of reconciliation.
This year’s title, White Too Long, examines the legacy of white supremacy among Southern Baptists and other Christian denominations.
We invite you to get started on White Too Long, and then join us on Monday evening, March 10 at 7 p.m., for a panel discussion including time for questions and answers. The book is available at Amazon or wherever fine books are sold. The discussion will take place at Richmond’s First Baptist Church. No reservations are required.
