Cap Trail 10M & 5k presented by Dominion Energy

Celebrate fall with the Cap Trail 10M & 5k presented by Dominion Energy on October 26th! Hosted by the Virginia Capital Trail Foundation, this Halloween-themed running event delivers scenic river views along the James, a well-marked course, top-finisher prizes, costume contests, an event t-shirt, and a celebratory beverage at Stone Brewing.

The 10-mile and 5k races take place on the paved Virginia Capital Trail. Perfect for all ages and fitness levels, the event includes a timed run/walk, on-site packet pickup, touchless water stations, and chip-timed bibs. Don’t miss the pre-run costume contest with prizes for best adult, children, and family/group costumes.

Early bird pricing is $38 for the 10-mile and $33 for the 5k before September 30. Registration includes a Halloween-themed event t-shirt, top finisher awards, and a celebratory beverage ticket at Stone Brewing. Enjoy a $15 race discount for participants under 18 and a $5 savings if you refer three or more friends. All profits support the Virginia Capital Trail Foundation’s efforts to enhance, promote, and advocate for the continued development of the Capital Trail and other trails throughout the Commonwealth.
