Belvedere Series: The Divine Feminine
Our Salon Series opens this weekend, celebrating women’s contributions to chamber music in this program featuring all-female composers and performers. Enjoy contemporary Hawaiian composer Leilehua Lanzilotti’s captivating solo cello piece Kou Inoa, Florence Price’s melodic Fantasie; the world-premiere of a striking special commission by composer Polina Nazaykinskaya; Liliya Ugay’s poignant depiction of the female experience, and Rebecca Clarke’s powerful piano trio. Renowned violinist Anyango Yarbo-Davenport makes her debut performance with us!
