Art for Art’s Sake: Make Something Pretty Because You Can

Oscar Wilde, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, and other writers and artists are celebrated for their involvement in the aestheticism art movement, or “Art for art’s sake.” No reason for the art is needed, just like there’s no reason needed to make it.
We’ll start the session by discussing the core themes of the aestheticism movement as well as examples for inspiration, then we’ll all make something for art’s sake!
