Lecture
Come along with longtime columnist and author Bill Lohmann for a ride on the roads less taken in search of interesting places, people and, of course, pie around Virginia. You might come away with ideas for your next day-trip or weekend getaway as Lohmann talks about the newly released third edition of his book, Backroads and Byways of Virginia.
Bill Lohmann, an award-winning columnist and a Richmond native, worked for the Richmond Times-Dispatch and, previously, the Richmond News Leader. He also has reported for United Press International in Richmond, Orlando, and Atlanta, and he began his career as a sports writer for the Charlottesville Daily Progress. He is the author of Backroads and Byways of Virginia: Drives, Day Trips, & Weekend Excursions (3rd edition).
