A New and Well-Ordered City

April 24 @ 7:30 pm - April 27 @ 2:00 pm

$8 – $15

William & Mary Theatre presents an original production, A New and Well-Ordered City, co-created by Bryan Schmidt and ensemble. This performance project explores the aspirations we invest in urban spaces, the labor of designing them, and the cycles of action that bring them to life. Inspired by Williamsburg’s history as one of the first planned cities in colonial America, the performance explores the tension between cities as imagined utopias, and the drudgery required to bring them into being. Performances are April 24-26 at 7:30 PM, and April 27 at 2:00 PM at Phi Beta Kappa Memorial Hall. For tickets, visit https://go.wm.edu/BNr38q
