Though the broader, polished album could potentially alienate fans of the band’s earlier work, traces of band leader and notorious perfectionist Adam Granduciel’s affection for arena rock can be detected as early as the band’s 2008 debut, “Wagonwheel Blues.” For anyone who believes that Mark Knopfler and Kraftwerk have more in common than just their relative placement in an iTunes folder, attendance is mandatory.
