RVA Tonight has reached the stage where it no longer can call itself a fake late-night talk show. Some aspiring local producer should get it on the air, because it’s more than ready for prime time. Till then, the evening of comedy and chat, led by host Beau Cribbs, will continue to be Richmond’s worst kept, nontelevised entertainment secret. On Friday, June 3, Cribbs and his merry band of comedic cohorts celebrate their second anniversary with a show at the Byrd Theatre. The interview guest will be none other than Gov. Terry McAuliffe, in what Cribbs and gang assure will go down as the biggest blunder in the governor’s once-promising political carrier — well, depending on how that recently reported FBI investigation turns out (rim shot). Longtime local salsa sensation Bio Ritmo provides the polyrhythmic soundtrack. Show time is 8 p.m. Admission is $15. Advance tickets at rvatonight.com.
