The Richmond music scene has never had a clearly identifiable sound and hopefully never will. During my three-plus decades as a resident of this city, I’ve come to realize that what defines the music is how different each band sounds from the next. Carrying on that proud tradition of diversity is this show by three of Richmond’s finest on Friday, April 24, at Wonderland. On the bill is the understated rock psychedelia of the Moonbees, the honky-tonking bluegrass of Red Light Rodeo and the up-tempo gypsy carnival folk of Fool’s Errand. Though each band sounds distinctly different, they complement and strengthen one another with their respective visions. Doors for the smorgasbord of homegrown flavors open at 9 p.m. Admission is $5.
