Wear your full suit and join hundreds of local Santas for SantaConRVA in Shockoe Slip on Saturday, Dec. 17. First held in 2009, this free adult event is the localized version of an international phenomenon. Starts at 6 p.m. at Capital Ale House, 623 E. Main St., and winds up at Sine, 1327 E. Cary St., at 9 p.m. In between, you’ll stroll though the James Center’s holiday lights where a huge group photo will be taken between 7:15 and 8 p.m. RSVPs are requested on the SantaCon RVA Facebook page.
