In its 19th season, the Richmond Shakespeare Festival and Quill Theater offer the delights of the Bard’s great works under a blanket of stars in the courtyard of Agecroft Hall, an authentic Tudor house built in the 15th century and brought over piece-by-piece from England in 1926. This season’s final play, “Macbeth,” is helmed by guest director Jemma Alix Levy and stars Axle Burtness as Macbeth. Levi will bring one of Shakespeare’s darkest works alive in ancient Scotland. The grounds open at 6 p.m. and picnic dinners are encouraged. $20 to $30. Runs July 7 through 30, all performances Thursday through Sunday at 7:30 p.m. quilltheatre.org.
