As if you needed another reason to visit the lovely grounds of Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden this time of year, here’s art made from live plants and other natural materials. Starting Friday, May 26, heading into Memorial Day weekend, seven regional artists will install 12 nature-based sculptures in a project called Wild Art: a Journey Off-Canvas, which runs through Oct. 1. Wild Art is included with regular garden admission, and there’s special programming for families and children including story times and a Kid Quest scavenger hunt. Multiple nonprofit community partners include Art180 and Art on Wheels, and there will be pop-up art by garden visitors including artist Noah Scalin. $13 adults, $8 children ages 3-12. lewisginter.org.
