Yes, it’s still that time of year when sudsy Oktoberfests enliven our weekends and fill our bellies with warmth. Once again, Cedar Street in Church Hill will be roped off so that friendly festivalgoers can enjoy bier, schnitzel, pretzels, and more bier from the delicious, German-themed Metzger Bar and Butchery and its renowned chef Brittanny Anderson. Its third annual Oktoberfest event on Saturday, Sept. 30, is free and open to the public with beer and food tickets available. Bring the doggies or whomever and just kick it. (Yes, you can.) 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. metzgerbarandbutchery.com.
