The party never ends for Amber Giles. Known as Mija, the 23-year-old DJ and producer from Phoenix is always finding new ways to rebuild and expand the parameters of house music. Since Mija’s genre-mashing, beat-laden burst into the electronic music mainstream with her 2014 Bonnaroo Sunrise Set with Skrillex, she’s become an international sensation. Her elastic sets are known for their assimilations of house, trap and dub step in a seamless and infinitely listenable mix of beats, tempos and genres that work as well inside the club as they do outside. On Thursday, April 7, you can see, hear and dance to one of the hottest and innovative artists in the modern mixing game when Mija steps behind her decks at the Broadberry. It’s presented by Baltimore-based dance floor advocates Steelz Promo. Doors open 9 p.m. Admission is $12-$15.
