Local rapper McKinley Dixon is creating some interesting mix tapes featuring unusual instrumentation. The artist, featured on the recent Style Music Issue sampler, will be joined by experimental guitar maestro Dave Watkins, Bad Magic and Private Cry for a funky and diverse bill of local music at Gallery5 on Thursday, April 27. $5-$7.
