The group’s enchanting brand of disco-ed socialism mixes Devo, Van Halen and the B-52s in a philosophical appropriation of Electric Six’s deviously playful sarcasms. Suave tunes featured on its website such as “Coolest Parties,” “Big Merganser” and “Popular Lenigrand” are instant hits I find impossible to resist. Known for its interactive performances, Maximum Zero works to prove that its members are the sex masters you want for a puckish proletariat party at Fallout on Thursday, July 28.
