After what could be a long, lazy weekend, some folks might be in need of a miracle to restart their gravy-choked hearts. Dark Star Orchestra is the undefeated champ of all Grateful Dead tribute acts, having now performed more shows than the legendary San Francisco band did: more than 2,300. Whether re-creating a classic concert or crafting its own set list, the group’s tie-dyed milkshake swirls bring all the hippies to the yard. The band kicks off a two-night run at the National on Wednesday, Nov. 29, and Thursday, Nov. 30. Both nights start at 8 p.m. $25-$30. thenationalva.com.
