Few bands did radio-friendly, power-pop punk in the new millennium better than the Conditions. The Richmond group burst onto the international above- and below-ground musical map with the 2010 release of its influential debut album, “Fluorescent Youth” on Good Fight Music. The band broke up in July 2014, but on Friday, Sept. 4, it reconstitutes itself to celebrate the fifth anniversary of that release with a one-night-only performance of the album at the Canal Club. Along for the trip down memory lane will be fellow Richmond post-hardcore hook masters Broadside, as well as Underdog Champs from Washington, When Cities Sleep from Waldorf, Maryland, and River City pop punkers a Collegiate Affair. Doors for the all-ages show open at 5:30 p.m. Admission is $10. thecanalclub.com.
