A master of cartoonish, hip-hopped horror, Blaze Ya Dead Homie is the Freddy Krueger of rhyme. Born Chris Rouleau, the former member of Insane Clown Posse’s road crew has been dishing out his signature brand of ghoulish gangsta rap since he was 17. The rapper’s new full-length album, “The Casket Factory,” showcases his macabre game. On the creep-filled crawl of “The Way U Look B4 U Die,” Blaze Ya Dead Homie’s spoken baritone works with DJ Swamp’s slithering turntable swipes to create a booming banger of words and beats. Other play-it-again tracks on the album such as “Worm Food,” “Who U Lookin’ 4” and “Necromancy” provide ample reasons to cheer on the bad guy. With host Jesse Daniels from GXW Wrestling, Blaze Ya Dead Homie headlines the night of good feelings about bad thoughts at Strange Matter on Sunday, Feb. 7. Joining him will be fellow men in makeup Lex the Hex Master and Trilogy, and local rapper TO$: the Sandman. 7 p.m. $20-$25.
