According to the late, great comedian Robin Williams, spring is nature’s way of saying, “Let’s party!” Glorious visual proof can be found at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden’s celebration of the season, “A Million Blooms.” The Virginia Daffodil Society holds a sale and showcases of hundreds of spring perennial beauties grown by expert horticulturists in the education and library complex on Saturday and Sunday, April 2 and 3. Be sure to check out the garden’s newly completed Cherry Tree Walk, with cherry blossoms and other seasonal blooms partying it up around Sydnor Lake.
