Enjoy Richmond’s beautiful Canal Walk

Cruise the Canal

Downtown Richmond’s Canal Walk was not just made for walking. You can also enjoy scenic tours, a romantic Kanawha Cruise and riverfront concerts and festivals.

Experience the history of the canal and its surroundings during a narrated half-hour tour. Tour prices are $4 for adults and $3 for senior citizens and children 5-12.

Privately chartered boats are available for private, family or group functions. Or cruise the canal for two hours while enjoying dinner prepared by one of their approved caterers. Prices range from $55-$120.

How about a picnic on the river? The boat will travel up and down the canal for 30 minutes or an hour. Prices range from $20-$35.

Kanawha Cruises are available 11 a.m.-8 p.m. until June 1. After June 1, sail 9 a.m.-10 p.m. To schedule a cruise, contact Denise Taylor at 649-2800.
