Combining the influences of Julie London, Doris Day and Peggy Lee, jazz singer Emme St. James uses her silky, seductive voice to recreate the classy atmosphere of early-20th-century jazz. She’s been performing locally for nearly 15 years, and along with her band, the Jazz Gentlemen, has traveled throughout the East Coast. She released a self-titled EP in 2010 and celebrates the holiday season with the release of her new album, “I’d Like You for Christmas,” with a show at the Wine Loft on Friday, Nov. 30, at 8 p.m. Free. 368-1768.
